デンマーク留学① / Study in Denmark①
Hej (デンマーク語で「こんにちは」)
Hello.
2020年3月に10日間、デンマークで過ごしました。
I spent in Denmark for 10 days on March, 2020.
そこでの経験についてお話しします。
I'm going to tell you about my experiences there.
デンマークへ行った目的は、「甲板部の国際資格を取るため」です。
The aim is "To get certificate as Ordinary Seaman".
半年間のプログラムの予定でしたが、コロナウイルスの影響で延期となり、一旦日本に帰ってきました。
It was planed for half year, but it is rescheduled by the effects of Coronavirus and I came back to Japan once.
今日は、滞在した大学「martec」についてお話しします。
Today, I'm going to tell you about "martec" that I stayed.
これは、建物の一部です。宿舎・食堂・教室・研修施設が全て敷地内にあります。
This is a part of building. There are an accommodation, a mess room, class rooms and training facilities in a site.
マイカーを持っている学生が非常に多かったです。
I was surprised that so many students have own cars.
18歳の友達に運転をしてもらった時は、「私の方が年下なのかな?」なんて思いました。
When my friend who is 18 years old gave me a ride, I wondered "Am I younger than him?"
校庭にはジブクレーンやコンテナがありました。
There are jib cranes and containers in the school yard.
ここは、ロープワークをする工房です。
This is a workshop where we do rope work.
体育館には筋トレの設備がありました。
There are weight training machines in the gym.
実は、帆船での実習のために「懸垂2回」「30分で5km走る」ことができないといけません。
Actually, we must be able to do two things for on board training on sailboat.
"two times pull ups" and "run 5km within 30min"
ポパイを目指して頑張ります。
I work towards being Popeye !
筋力・体力のトレーニングがあることが日本との大きな違いだと感じました。
I think physical training is big difference between Denish on board training and Japanese.
機械化、デジタル化が進んでいるといえど、ある程度の力は船上で必要なのかもしれません。
Now, machanise and digitlization are developping so much, but physical fitness and muscle strength may be essential for seafarers.
